The JOA® J20S-FN Sanitary Feminine Napkin Manufacturing Machine streamlines product changeover and makes future upgrades simple. Combine that with the high-speed production of multiple product configurations, and you have the industry’s best platform-based solution. JOA engineers work with you to customize your sanitary napkin-making machine’s features and functionality to meet your product and production requirements. Designed to seamlessly handle machine upgrades as technologies evolve, you can always add components with minimal investment and downtime.
JOA provides a wide range of options to create the exact product features you need. The premade airlaid core can be utilized either in rectangular or die cut configurations. Fluff and fluff SAP cores can be created in single core, dual core, continuously formed or discrete. Pouch wrap products are available in nonwoven or poly, and you can choose from multiple wrapping options. Apply colors and patterns to your products with our in-line multi-color flexographic printer. A high density core option is offered along with our Expandable Core Wrap.
The proprietary Turn And Pitch (TAP) unit turns a product and transfers it to a conveyor for pouch wrapping. This is done with one unit at high speeds, eliminating the need for two units and multiple hand-offs which could lead to registration or placement errors and product defects such as product edges or corners flipping back. In addition, our optional Double Pad Turner feeds two product streams into two stacking/bagging channels to remove the speed barrier associated with primary packaging.
Our engineers are continually looking for ways to improve machine design to enhance your production process. We offer an optional Mechanical Equipment Platform (MEP) for a two-level machine construction that saves floor space and shortens the web path, reducing the chance of wrinkling. An Automatic Roll Loading System is also available to transfer labor efforts of preparing splices into higher value activities on the machine.
Our engineers are continually looking for ways to improve machine design for better performance. We can evaluate your existing machine and recommend the best solutions for your requirements. With upgrade kits that integrate seamlessly to any machine, you can increase production speeds, reduce material waste, improve product quality, automate manual tasks and more.
Committed to keeping your machine up and running, our expert technicians accept calls day and night and travel at a moment’s notice when needed. Flexible operator and maintenance training options are available at start-up and throughout the life of your machine. To further our dedication to 24/7 worldwide service, online support solutions are also provided to accelerate the troubleshooting process and minimize downtime.
