We are especially honored when those passions involve giving back to and enhancing our local community. Meet Chris Wesendorf, JOA’s Operations Manager and Fire Chief for the City of Sheboygan Falls.
Chris’s journey with JOA began over 32 years ago, when he was also serving as a volunteer firefighter and EMT for the Town of Sheboygan Falls. “Initially, I thought I would only stay for two years until I completed my degree in Law Enforcement,” Chris shared. “However, I was drawn to the company culture and the limitless opportunities for growth.” JOA not only afforded Chris the chance to travel and serve customers globally, but also gave him the flexibility to continue his work with the fire department.
Throughout his tenure with JOA, Chris has held numerous roles and achieved impressive business accomplishments. However, we are equally proud of his many achievements within the local fire departments. “We have made significant improvements to safety and emergency response, as well as updated buildings, equipment, and apparatuses,” Chris explained.
We are honored to have Chris as part of the JOA team and grateful for the leadership he provides, both within the company and within the community that JOA has proudly called home for 90 years. Please join us in recognizing and expressing gratitude to Chris for all he does!
