Journal Article Highlights Joa Commitment to Long-Term Support

An article appearing in the December 2008 issue of The Journal, a Rockwell Automation publication, demonstrates not only Joa's commitment to long-term support of its production platforms, but also their upgradeability.

The article describes how Joa engineers were able to facilitate a major upgrade to a baby-diaper machine, manufactured in 1995, requiring only minimal downtime.

Selecting Allen Bradley and Rockwell Automation motion control, I/O and HMI products capable of interfacing with both new and existing equipment, Joa engineers were able to complete the upgrade in several phases over a 3-year time period, meeting their customer's objective of a cost-effective upgrade to the latest in automation technology, while requiring only minimal interruptions in production.
