Founder Inducted Into Paper Industry International Hall of Fame
On Thursday, October 18, 2007, Curt G. Joa, founder of Curt G. Joa, Inc., was inducted into the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame at its annual banquet and induction ceremony, held at the Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton, Wisconsin, USA.
According to the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame's website, the criteria for induction into the Hall of Fame are as follows: "Any individual, living or deceased, who has pioneered and/or uniquely helped the world's paper industry flourish, is eligible for induction into the Paper Industry International Hall of Fame. Recognition will be based on contributions in the following categories: Academics; Economics; Entrepreneur; Founder; Leadership; Marketing/Sales; Research and Development; Service; and Technology." Mr. Joa was inducted into the Hall of Fame on the basis of his contributions in three of those categories: Founder, Research and Development, Entrepreneur.
