Electrical Engineering Technician - Apply Online
The Electrical Engineering Technician is responsible for assisting in both the electrical design phase and commissioning of Joa equipment. The Electrical Engineering Technician also supports the needs of customers, test-crew, electrical assembly and pneumatics at both in-house and at off-site facilities. Must be willing to travel.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- A two (2) year technical degree in ElectroMechanical Technology.
- AB PLC programming experience.
- Must have ability to troubleshoot electrical circuits.
- Must have the ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
- Understand pneumatic principles of operation.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and customers.
- Requires a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
Machinist III - Apply Online
The Machinist III is responsible for the manufacture of parts per print specifications in an accurate and timely manner utlizing a variety of machining centers.
Performs milling, turning, drilling, tapping and deburring operations. Checks for defective parts or materials and performs maintenance on machines. Identify material to be utilized in manufacturing process. Identify various types of tooling. Maintain work area.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- Requires education generally equivalent to a High School diploma.
- Requires up to 2-3 years of experience.
- Requires basic mathematical skills.
- Requires good oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees.
- Must be able to read and understand blueprints, specifications and routings.
Process Technician - Apply Online
We have an immediate opening for a Process Technician. This position reports directly to the Technical Services Manager.
The Process Technician performs converting equipment start up in plant and in the customer's facilities. The Process Technician supports the needs of the customer, engineering and assembly departments. The Process Technician will be willing to travel up to 60% of the time on short notice for extended periods.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- One to three years of process or converting equipment experience.
- Strong knowledge of process development techniques.
- Basic understanding of pneumatics.
- Basic understanding of machine building.
- Able to read blueprints.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to interact with the customer, in the field, as a representative of the JOA company.
